Chief of Staff, Engineering
Salary: 6000€-6500€ gross per month

Core responsibilities
Shape the evolution of the engineering function through organizational design, strategic workforce planning, succession management, and capability development to enable long-term growth and scalability.
Partner with senior technology leadership to define strategic priorities, translate business objectives into actionable plans, and drive alignment across the engineering organization.
Act as a trusted advisor to engineering leaders, strengthening organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, decision-making, and overall team performance through coaching and data-driven insights.
Lead quarterly planning and goal-setting, establish an effective operating rhythm for the engineering leadership team, and ensure accountability, prioritization, and successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
Track the progress of key initiatives, proactively identify risks, remove obstacles, and balance long-term priorities with day-to-day operational needs.
Partner with HR to develop engineering career frameworks, talent development initiatives, and people processes that create clear growth opportunities for both technical and leadership career paths.
Foster cross-functional alignment by helping leaders communicate technical strategy in business terms, ensuring clarity around priorities, decisions, and organizational direction.
Represent and support technology leadership in cross-functional initiatives and key forums, driving collaboration, informed decision-making, and consistent follow-through.
Partner with Finance and the Senior Vice President, Technology & Development to support workforce planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and investment decisions through clear financial planning and performance insights.
Experience and key competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Organizational Psychology, or a related field. A Master’s degree (e.g., MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
5+ years of experience in HR Business Partnering, Operations, Strategy, or a similar role within a technology organization, with experience supporting organizational development and strategic initiatives.
Strong understanding of organizational design, workforce strategy, and leadership development, with the ability to translate business and technology priorities into actionable people and organizational plans.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior leaders across technical and business functions.
High emotional intelligence and the ability to handle sensitive leadership and organizational matters with discretion and confidentiality.
Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to use organizational and business performance data to identify opportunities, assess risks, and support informed decision-making.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring consistent follow-through in a fast-paced environment.
Self-driven, proactive, and solution-oriented approach with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive initiatives forward.
Fluency in verbal and written communication in English is essential, as it's our primary means of interaction.
