Manage risk, compile odds, and shape the Sportsbook experience while working with a global, high-performing Operations team.
As a Bookmaker in our Sportsbook Operations team, you’ll be at the center of the action, keeping our sportsbook performing at its best around the clock. From managing live risk and resulting matches to closely monitoring fast-moving events, you’ll have a direct impact on both product performance and the customer experience.
You’ll work side-by-side with a dynamic, global team of 75+ sportsbook professionals across multiple regions, covering exciting duty shifts that include nights, weekends, and public holidays. Core responsibilities
Around 25% of your working hours will be scheduled as night shifts (on average, 5 shifts per month), giving you exposure to live, global markets.
Monitor incoming bets in real time and keep a close eye on market activity.
Actively manage risk based on betting patterns and market movements.
Ensure accurate match resulting, especially for events not automatically updated by providers or systems.
Provide high-quality, case-specific Sportsbook support to the Customer Support team.
Take ownership of the Sportsbook product, tools, and providers, and quickly escalate any issues to development teams or external providers when needed.
Support customer management by identifying unusual betting behavior and escalating concerns to Sportsbook management when appropriate.
Own assigned leagues and side bets end-to-end - from launch and monitoring to risk management, reporting, and final results.
Contribute ideas and suggestions to help improve the Sportsbook product and keep the company competitive.
Train, support, and share knowledge with Customer Support teams through Sportsbook training sessions or seminars when assigned.
Participate in team and company meetings, events, and initiatives, contributing to a collaborative and engaged workplace culture.
Experience and key competencies
A genuine passion for football, with strong knowledge of global leagues (including lower divisions), teams, players, tactics, injuries, suspensions, and historical performance.
Solid analytical and numerical skills, with a good understanding of probability, odds, and the ability to spot value in betting markets.
A strong sense of risk management and commercial awareness, including how liabilities and market movements impact the business.
Confidence using trading tools, Excel, and other systems, with a natural curiosity and ability to pick up new technology quickly.
The ability to stay calm, focused, and objective under pressure, especially during fast-moving live events.
A sharp eye for detail, quick decision-making, and a practical, solutions-focused mindset.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different teams and regions.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays in line with the sports calendar.
Fluency in verbal and written communication in English is essential, as it's our primary means of interaction.
Nice to have
Experience working with data analysis or statistical models.
Previous experience in sportsbook operations, trading, or risk management.
Bringing a strong academic background in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
