Information Security Specialist
The Job in a Nutshell
As an Information Security Specialist, you’ll work closely with the Senior Manager, ISMS & User Security, and the wider Information Security team to protect and strengthen the organization’s information assets. Your role will focus on managing information security risks, maintaining a robust ISMS aligned with ISO 27001 and SOC 2, and supporting compliance across a complex, regulated environment. You’ll collaborate across teams to continuously improve our security posture and resilience.
A Sneak Peek into Your Role
Manage information security risks across business units together with the Information Security team.
Support the continuous improvement, and ongoing maintenance of an ISO 27001 ISMS that meets SOC 2 requirements.
Contribute to compliance programs including PCI-DSS and relevant gaming and government regulations.
Manage internal and external audits, ensuring findings are tracked and remediated on time.
Perform vulnerability scanning, audits, and security reviews, and work with teams to drive remediation.
Support incident investigation and incident response when required.
Drive information security awareness and training initiatives across the organization.
Escalate security risks and ISMS-related issues to senior leadership as needed.
You're good at
4+ years of hands-on experience across different areas of information security.
Practical experience with information security and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, GDPR, NIST, or similar.
Strong background in risk assessments, control selection, and risk treatment in ISO 27001 and/or SOC 2 environments.
Experience advising teams on security best practices across systems, networks, and software development environments.
Ability to propose and implement security improvements and drive best practices across the organization.
Experience creating and maintaining security documentation, including policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Confidence communicating security standards and requirements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Go is a plus.
Excellent written and spoken English.
