GL Accountant

In this role you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day financial operations across our diverse group of companies. Embrace the exciting challenge of applying IFRS accounting principles to analyze and interpret financial data from various sources. As a valued member of our Finance function, you'll collaborate with talented professionals spanning FP&A, investor relations, corporate development, tax, accounting, and treasury. A Sneak Peek into Your Role
- Actively taking part in the monthly closing process for a group of companies — preparing journal entries, posting monthly accruals, and reconciling accounts within your area of responsibility.
- Supporting the preparation of annual reports and contributing to the financial audit process.
- Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and compiling flux analyses to explain variances.
- Handling VAT calculations and bookings with accuracy.
- Maintaining the fixed asset ledger and schedules.
- Calculating and recording intragroup loans.
You’re good at
- A degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, with solid knowledge of IFRS.
- Previous experience in General Ledger accounting.
- Advanced MS Excel skills, with the ability to handle complex data.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, while also keeping the big picture in mind.
- Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Fluency in verbal and written English is a must, as it's our primary means of communication.
