The Job in a Nutshell

In this role, you'll be responsible for compiling odds and managing risk on assigned events, while ensuring the smooth delivery of high-quality shifts as part of a rotating schedule to provide 24/7 coverage. These shifts involve active risk management, settling matches, profiling customers, collaborating with our IT and Customer Support teams, and keeping a close eye on both our front page and the overall Sportsbook product. If you’re passionate about sports and betting, detail-oriented, this position could be a perfect match for you.

A Sneak Peek into Your Role

• Compiling odds for assigned events and side markets, while taking full ownership of assigned leagues and markets from launch through settlement, including market monitoring, risk management, and reporting.
• Monitoring incoming tickets and actively managing risk based on new information, market movements, and ticket details.
• Settling matches by handling all results that are not automatically updated by providers or systems.
• Managing customers based on betting patterns.
• Providing high-quality, case-specific Sportsbook support to the customer support department.
• Taking ownership of the Sportsbook product, providers, and tools; promptly informing the development team and/or providers’ customer support when issues arise.

You’re good at

• You have passion and knowledge of sports, especially Swedish sports (Football and Ice Hockey on different levels but also for example Bandy, Floorball and/or Handball).
• A strong interest in betting, particularly sports betting. Previous experience in betting, working in any department of an online sportsbook, or as a bookmaker is a plus.
• You have a solid understanding of statistics and probability.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience is a plus.
• Strong competency in Excel and Google Sheets. Familiarity with R or Python is a bonus.
• You're reliable, detail-oriented, and analytical – ready to spot risks, solve problems, and keep things running smoothly.
• You communicate clearly, adapt easily, and enjoy collaborating and sharing ideas to help improve the Sportsbook and stay ahead of the game.
• Willing to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays - because sports never sleep.
• Fluency in verbal and written communication in English and Swedish is essential.
