Treasury Accountant
The Job in a Nutshell
As our Treasury Accountant, you'll be at the heart of our daily treasury operations, managing cash flow, supporting payment reconciliations, and ensuring liquidity across entities and accounts. You’ll take ownership of PSP balance management, reporting, and process improvement, playing a key role in everything from AP approvals and cash positioning to FX exposure monitoring and regulatory reporting. Your problem-solving mindset will be essential for navigating complex payment cases and refining our treasury workflows. A Sneak Peek into Your Role
- Managing the daily cash position and ensuring optimal liquidity across all entities and accounts.
- Working closely with the Accounting and Payments teams to optimize the PSP reconciliation process and the booking of actuals in the accounting system.
- Approving AP payments, PSP top-ups and settlements, and supporting intragroup cashflows and other cash-related transactions in accordance with company policies.
- Preparing the monthly Cash Balance Report.
- Consistently monitoring currency exposure and its impact on cash balances.
- Reporting Player Funds balances and Player Liabilities to regulators.
- Gathering and documenting information required for due diligence purposes for banks and FX providers.
- Participating in treasury-related audits and ensuring timely submission of required documentation.
- Identifying opportunities to improve treasury processes and contributing to system implementations or migrations.
- Dealing with queries from credit card users and managing their limits.
- Handling the Treasury team email and managing day-to-day requests sent to various Treasury channels on Slack.
You’re good at
- You have a degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field or you’ve already started working toward one.
- You bring at least 5 years of experience in finance, ideally with a background in cash or treasury management. Experience in an international environment is a strong plus.
- You’re proficient in MS Office and have hands-on experience with at least one accounting or ERP system.
- You work independently, lead by example, and take initiative while maintaining high standards in everything you do.
- You’re detail-oriented with a strategic mindset, communicate effectively, embrace change, and constantly seek ways to improve processes in a dynamic environment.
- Fluency in verbal and written communication in English is essential, as it's our primary means of interaction. Estonian skills are considered as a plus.
