Join our dynamic team as a GL Accountant, where you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day financial operations across our diverse group of companies. As a valued member of our Finance function, you'll collaborate with talented professionals spanning FP&A, investor relations, corporate development, tax, accounting, and treasury. A Sneak Peek into Your Role

• Actively participating in the monthly closing process for the group of companies, including preparing journal entries, making monthly accruals, and reconciling accounts for assigned areas of responsibility.
• Assisting with the preparation of annual reports and taking part in the financial audit process.
• Maintaining fixed assets.
• Executing VAT bookings.
• Calculating and booking intragroup loans.
• Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and compiling flux analyses.
• Enhancing and optimizing processes to drive efficiency in the monthly close process.
• Providing assistance with other accounting-related tasks as needed.

You’re good at

• Degree in Business Administration or Finance with knowledge of IFRS.
• Proficient in consolidation with the ability to bridge statutory and group reporting.
• Understanding of VAT computation.
•  Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail, capable of seeing the big picture. Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Fluency in verbal and written English is a must, as it's our primary means of communication.
