Coolbet is seeking a skilled Security Engineer to join our growing Information Security team. You will be responsible for protecting our organization's information assets across our B2B and B2C platforms. This includes designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions, as well as optimizing existing security infrastructure. Your key responsibilities will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to strengthen our overall security posture. You will work alongside experienced security engineers, analysts, and specialists to build, maintain, and enhance security within our products and technology environments. A Sneak Peek into Your Role

• Planning, designing, implementing, supervising, and monitoring security controls related to CI/CD, Applications, Kubernetes clusters & WAFs.
• Codifying and automating the provisioning of security tools through IaC tools and custom solutions.
• As a subject matter expert, contributing to the implementation and design of security solutions and controls to support business needs.
• Participating in the design of overall environments while promoting a security-focused culture within the organization.
• Planning, designing, and performing vulnerability assessments to evaluate security risks and proposing controls improvement.
• Participating in the incident response process, evaluating and recommending new security tools and technologies.
• Writing and maintaining documentation about security implementations and procedures.
• Responsibilities may require working outside of normal hours to support critical systems and occasionally traveling for official assignments.

You’re good at

• Experience in any of the following: Security Engineering, DevSecOps/DevOps, IT Operations, or related roles.
• Proficient in Linux administration, with a strong grasp of Containerization and CI/CD pipelines. Kubernetes would be a plus.
• Hands on experience in security design within a microservices environment using automation tools like Terraform/Ansible or scripting languages like Bash/Python/Golang.
• Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), GitOps, and automation.
• Advanced knowledge of security concepts related to web applications, networks, and common protocols (e.g., TCP, HTTP/S, DNS, reverse proxies).
• Knowledge of application security is desirable but not mandatory.
• A university degree in information technology or a related field or equivalent experience in a similar role is required.
• Great communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on achieving results. Able to think strategically and analytically, take initiative, manage stress, and juggle multiple tasks. Comfortable explaining technical details in a clear way to non-technical teammates and always striving for personal and professional growth.
• Fluency in verbal and written English is a must, as it's our primary means of communication.
